my mini Mac model is A1347

I need more RAM to my miniMac I have only 2 RAM ,when I install Siera software it become very slow..please advice me of the kind and the numbers of RAM I need to add...also is it easy to do it myself..my MiniMac model # is A1347....thanks

The A1347 model is the Mid 2010 model, the maximum RAM would be 16 GBs.

Note that your biggest performance increase would be to replace the slow 5400 rpm hard drive with a SSD drive.

2GB sounds like maybe a 2010 model....? To check for sure, go up on the menu bar and select "About This Mac"


Then go to either OWCmacsales.com or Crucial.com and order the Max amount that is listed for your model.

It's very easy, you do not even need tools to install RAM modules in the 2010 thru 2012 Mac Mini's.
