My spouse not getting iMessage or notifications.

Just an update after researching Apple blogs. My wife was not getting alerts from me although she was getting them from other friends. After intense resetting and verifying and rebooting as well as following suggested corrections on the blogs it was as simple as going to my wife’s name on iMessage, swiping to the left and undo the hide Alerts to Show Alerts. Sometimes the biggest hair pullers are the simplest setting fix.
