Actually, I cannot find such an Epson model on either Epson's homepage or by doing a Google search.
I have an Epson WF-3640 and it works fine with AirPrint (had it for a couple or 3 years now). All you need to do for AirPrint should be to connect the printer to the same wifi network as the iOS device is connected to. After that, apps will just find the printer by bonjour.
