When I tried to delete messages I receive the following: Unable to move messages-The messages could not be moved to the mailbox trash? I have taken my phone into the Apple Store to be checked out still getting the message.
I have the same problem, I get the "Unable to Move Message" whenever I am deleting a message or try to move it into any of my mailbox folders. What differs from all the similar incidents with the same message I have seen in this community is that the message is actually being moved into my trash and mailbox folder respectively, but I still get the error-message!?? Very frustrating!!
I have tried all the suggested fixes in this community under the "Unable to Move Message" topic - nothing helps - and my internet connection is excellent....
For whatever reason your mail server cannot add to the trash folder and delete from the inbox. Perhaps the reference to the server trash folder in Settings is incorrect, or the folder on the server is corrupted.
You will get that error if you don't have an Internet connection when deleting the messages. Did you demonstrate the problem at the genius bar? What were you told?
That sounds like a server side error. You need to work with your email provider for a resolution.
I came into the store with the error message showing for the Genius to see and I was told the problem should be fixed but it is still showing up?
No, as stated, the mail is actually moved into my trash folder - so its doing its job, but still I get this error message!
