iphone 5s battery on-off after updating to ios 11

hi,

i updated my iphone 5s ios to 11 from 10.2 on friday ... downloading & installing is done without any issues (wifi) ... the problem is battery ... after installation, to enter iphone new os i have to typeout my id & pass & move to further steps (icloud etc) ... bt the battery is turning off-on while doing this ... charging via adapter shows 99% & going through process shows 1% ... cant access my phone at all ... anyone knows fix to this plz help ...

Hi

Go to apps store download Battery life it will test your battery condition.

But it sounds like you need a new battery Make an appointment at Apple store.

Or go to Support.apple.com for posting details Mine took 4 days use SIMCARD in other phone if you have one.

charged the phone for 20 min & it shows 100% ... after disconnecting charger ... tried to download your suggested app ... in few min, phone turned off & restarted showing only 1% battery ...

Only a battery replacement will solve your problem.

@brian ... its not a battery problem ... its ios 11.2 problem ... upgrading ios caused it ... cant even go back to 10.3 ...

apple ppl ... plz do update ur software ...

Hi

If your battery is over 2 /3 years Old it will need replacing

Or it may has a intermittent fault.

Ios 11.2 works fine for me we have 6 apple devices
