Can you remove the emoji button at the bottom of iPhone X keyboard?

The annoying emoji button at the bottom-left of the keyboard on the X is getting in the way for me being left-handed. About 40% of the time when I try to type something on the far side of the phone (say near the letter P) while using Swype I end up bumping the key and it stops my input for the word I'm typing. Is there a fix for this within the settings? If not I may end up having to return this phone and go with the 8 Plus.
