read-only alias
how can i create a copy (alias?) of a file (Excel) that multiple people can access and read, but that only I can modify?
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Select the file in Finder, then Finder/File/Duplicate. Then do a Get Info (command - I) on the copy and make sure Everyone is set to read only.
