The pulldown file menu is unstable in Logic Pro X 10.3.2. How do I reinstall the program or stabilize it in some other way?

I am experiencing mounting instability and reduced speed in Logic. I am running High Sierra on a 5,1 with dual 6 core processors. Ram is 64 Gb.

What is the best way to stabilize the program?

Logic Pro X, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), 2x 2.93gh quad core
