No, it will not damage the battery.
No, it will not damage the battery.
It's actually best practice to plug your phone in at night, make sure it's connected to WiFi and lock the screen. That way, if you have Backup turned in in iCloud, your phone will automatically back up every night. Should something untoward happen to your phone during the day, you'll never lose more than 24 hours worth of data.
Oui c'est français. Tu as raison. Je pensais jeter quelque chose de différent pour un changement. J'habite au Canada. Nous devons apprendre l'anglais et le français à l'école.
(Yes it is French. You are right. Thought I'd throw something different in for a change. I live in Canada. We have to learn English and French in school.)
Most of my communication is in English on here. :-)
I won't use French for this one. Lol. But typing things out in French requires me to change my keyboard layout, but since I use Windows 10 Professional, that's in English. En anglais. Oops. I must be mindful of my thoughts they will betray me.
Your battery in any case will be fine. :-)

Hey, thanks for the reply!
You're welcome.
What's the worst that can happen? You wake up with a fully charged battery? You shower, shave and get dressed for work? All wins if you ask me.
Haha, thanks for your reply. 😀
Awesome! Thank you very much!
Il y a aussi cet avantage. Si vous l'avez allumé.
(There's that benefit too. If you have it turned on).
Yes I'm also bilingual. Glad we can be of help.
Hehe thanks, forgive my ignorance, but is that French?
I need to stop being lazy and learn another language!
Thank you 😀

Will leaving the iPhone on a charger for a prolonged period of time damage the battery?
