outlook swapped email alias

I just noticed yesterday that my outlook email has switched to a previous email/alias. I keep trying to fix it and as soon as I get out, it switches right back. I've seen some posts about this from 2016, but this just happened to me recently and I'm not sure if that advice would still be applicable. This has happened on both my iPhone and iPad.
