The machine is laggy and the SMC reset is not working

Hi, recently my 2015 MacBook Pro started to lag a lot especially the graphics. The animations are really slow and breaking up sometimes. Some suggest an NVRAM reset followed by an SMC reset will fix it. The NVRAM is working. But the SMC reset is not. I tried to hold ctrl+option+shift + the power button up to 30 seconds. Still, it's not resetting (The color of the mag safe connector is not changing.). Any idea what's happening?

Sorry, it's not an adware.🙂 Hotel is am open source developer tool I use to run my apps (GitHub - typicode/hotel: A simple process manager for developers. Start apps from your browser and access them using loc…). By the way, I noticed that I accidentally kept MySQL running. I just stopped it. But my biggest concern is the SMC is not resetting 😐 Any idea why it's happening?

The machine is laggy and the SMC reset is not working
