Did you buy your iPhone X with service from Verizon? If so, then yes, there should be a SIM card provided with the phone.

You have an iPhone X made for the US market that was intended for use on Verizon, or a gray market iPhone. It may not have been used before but technically it is not brand new. Apple did place the SIM into the iPhone when it was assembled. Be aware you will have to take that iPhone to an Apple Store in the US for warranty service.

Thanks for the reply. Nope I bought this from Middle East, and seller (a reputed retailer) claimed it to be brand new. Even if the sim is coming with iphone, does Apple put it in the slot themselves and then seal pack the box, or they provide a seperate sim with cell phone?
