got e-mail from apple.com saying my apple id used in new zealand. how do I fix it?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 11.2

Are you sure it was from Apple? Did it come from @apple.com? Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you. I would change my password and you may want to consider setting up 2 Factor Authentication or 2 Step Verification.
