iPhone 6 slow with iOS 11

My iPhone 6 is very slow since updating to iOS 11. I'm now on iOS 11.2 and I'm still experience lags, stuttering, freezes, etc. It's a huge performance decrease relative to iOS 10.

I did a factory reset and reinstalled all my apps and data.

I have a 64GB iPhone 6 with 32GB available.

I realize there are other threads on this issue, but they appear to have been closed. The issue still exists, though.

Does anyone know when Apple is going to fix this? Apparently many people are having these problems.
