There is no volume to choose to reset password

Hello everyone,

After I type "resetpassword" in Terminal, it shows this screen but no volume to choose. Anyone has any idea how to fix this? My imac is using macOS Sierra.

I understand from your post that you have not been able to reset your user password. The following article has steps to help reset your password:

Change or reset the password of a macOS user account - Apple Support

If you have completed the steps above and are still not able to reset or login with the new password, you may need to contact Apple Support.

If you still can't log in

If you still can't log in with your password, contact Apple Support for help.
