i purchased music off itunes, why doesnt it show up for a ringtone?

I’ve tried downloading another song and it still doesn’t show up for a ringtone option.

Probably because you purchased music, and not a ringtone. A song purchased on iTunes is different than a ringtone purchased on iTunes.
