My MacBook Air is stuck with flashing question mark after failed high Sierra install. How do I get it restarted?

Hey bettyadam1,

I can see from your post that your MacBook Air won't start past a flashing question mark on your screen. In most cases, this usually means your Mac can't find its system software. But this can may be resolved using the information in the link below.

If a flashing question mark appears when you start your Mac

If you are still unable to get beyond this screen, please let me know.
