Ipad pro 9.7 warped

Hi. Looking to see if another has some advice.

Just under 12 months ago I purchased an iPad pro 9.7. A couple of days ago my we left it on chair went out shopping and home and it has warped or bent where the 3 connection points for keyboard are. Went to apple store person there no help said they could sell me another one for approx $600.00. But I paid $950.00 for this one 11 months OK. So was not going to do that.it still works and screen is all good just warped . Thinking of contacting fair trading to see what options I have. Any advise .thanks
