Apple SE version 11.2 capacity 16 gb How do I delete an old credit card

IPhone SE Version 11.2 Capacity 16 GB

I am trying to delete an old credit card that is no longer valid. I've entered my new one, but it doesn't seem to recognize it. All I want to do is download an app, but I don't have the number I need anymore from the old credit card and I can't seem to go on with the download without it.

It's my understanding that you wish to remove an old credit card from your account information. I may be able to help you with this as there could be a reason why you can't. Check out these articles which may help:
