Can’t turn off Bluetooth / WiFi in ios11 control centre

Does anyone else find it crazy that the ios11 Control Centre now only disconnects your Bluetooth / WiFi rather than turning them off completely like it used to do.

I frequently turn them off when not needed in order save battery but Ive never been in a situation were Ive needed to disconnect my bluetooth or WiFi but leave them turned on at the same time.

Surely turning them off completely is something people do much more often than leaving them turned on but disconected.

iPhone 6s, iOS 11.2

The function has been changed to add a function that, despite what you may think, lots of people have requested: the ability to disconnect from a specific network without disconnecting WiFi entirely, something that's rarely necessary.

It is an urban myth that WiFi is the cause of significant battery drain:

If you have battery problems, that's not the cause.

I often want to disconnect from my WiFi network because it's not very fast. However, I do use it sometimes so, I don't want to delete the network every time I want to disconnect from it. I don't want to turn WiFi off because it decreases location services accuracy and, if I forget to turn it on when I get home, I won't be able to use any of the Home functions and worse, if I forget to turn it back on and go to sleep, my phone won't complete it's automatic iCloud back up overnight.
