When I watch the BBC iPlayer app, it repeatedly asks me to sign into the iTunes Store. Even though I put in my correct login credentials, its won't take it.

Both my Apple TV 4th Gen's have started getting the same issue - only on the BBC iplayer app - in the last couple of days.
Makes the app un-useable

I’ve also submitted info to BBC iPlayer support - although this looks like a TvOS issue to me.
Last night, my ATV had cured itself so there might have been some sort of update.....
Yep, same here. It seemed to fix itself!
Problem with that is we have no idea what issue was nor what the fix was .... so we’d be in the same boat should it happen again.
