Apple Watch Replacement for Apple Care

Hello,

I accidentally scratched the front glass of my apple watch series 3 so badly. It is not broken but has a full scratch line from top down of the front glass which is very noticeable.

I dont have apple care but my watch is still eligible to purchase it. My question is:

Does my watch needs any inspection for replacement or as long as I get covered by Apple Care and I pay the fee for accidental damage, 69 USD, can It be replaced with no problem at all? I mean immediately replacement If I go to a repair center?
