Grounding when replacing speakers 15"2010 Macbook Pro

Is it necessary to ground oneself to prevent static damage to logic board, etc. when handling the logic board, etc. in order to replace the speakers?

If so, what is the best way to do this?

Do you wear wrist strap designed for this purpose? To what metal object do you attach the clip and wire?

I’m assuming the aluminum case isn’t going to work.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

I think just touching a faucet before replace speaker would works.
