Only admin account was switched to a standard account

My only admin account was switched to a standard account and now I cannot make any changes because there is no admin account, how do I solve this? I’m using 10.13.2 and the root sign in vulnerability has been patched.

Hi Aplcomeon, Hope you are doing well. What you can do it to restart your Mac and boot from a Single User Mode by holding "Command + S" All you need to do is to type this command:

/sbin/mount -uw / (Enter)

rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone (Enter)

reboot (Enter)

This command will create another admin account in your Mac. After creating another Admin, you can go to System preferences - Users and groups - and promote the standard user to Admin by Selecting your previous Account and Select "Allow use to administer this computer"

Hope it helps. Cheers!
