buggy Photo 3 under High Sierra

I bought this brand new MacBook Air for my wife to edit photos....

brand spanking new.... unfortunately, Photos app is going the direction of iTune...... crap

attention Apple developers:

under Photos, you have 4 views:

Photos, Moments, Collections, and Years

there is a SERIOUS bug in

Version 3.0 (3251.12.190)

where thumbnails are INCONSISTENT.

Images under Photos are completely missing in Moments, Collections, and Years.

This is after rebuilding Library also.

Imported photos that show up under Photos are also missing under Imports.

Did someone beta test this release with more than a handful of photos?
