how can i add 'Photos" to the 'On My Device' list for my ipad mini ?

i wish to access and transfer some of the images

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), early 2009

Hi. You cannot access Photos from the iOS Files app at this time.

Take a look at the FileExplorer app in the app store. It can access both Photos and cloud servers.
