Worried, I gained a lot of disk space when I upgraded to High Sierra.

Ok, so the other day, I came here and asked a question, because when I would click on my MAC, and storage, it said I had over 17GB in movies.

I included a screen cap of my storage bar, and the usage.

Here is the thread where I asked the question.

Need disk space, Storage says 17GB movies

here is a screen cap of the El Capitan Storage Space bar.

So, today, I was trying to buy iCloud space, and it said I could not use it with Yosemite.

I wasn't running Yosemite.

Even now, after I just upgraded to High Sierra, under System Preferences...

I clicked on iCloud, and it again said that I could not use it with Yosemite.

Why can't it see that I have upgraded my OS X?

and, after the upgrade, I thought I was going to lose another 4 GB, but I looked and I gained

a LOT.

Here is a screen cap of my new storage space bar.

OK, so is that bad that I gained that much space on my disk?

Did it delete something like photos?

and, why is iCloud not recognizing what OS I am using?

Is there a way to go into iCloud settings and manually enter my OS, so that

it will know I am running the latest OS?

Than you for your help on this?
