system freezes up, I did the latest update last Thursday and plays started to function again. iTunes worked Thursday and Friday but when I rebooted on Monday system freeze up occurred. No music plays and system is frozen for a period of time before I can close it

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), used hpofficepro 8625 and an epson

If I understand your post correctly, iTunes is not functioning correctly on your Windows computer. I'm happy to help.

First, if you can, create a backup of your iTunes Library: Manage and back up your iTunes media library

Then, follow the steps here: Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later
