Hi, in Photoshop cs6, in my desktop I see "3D" on the scroll bar but all the functions are deemed and can not
use any 3D features. Even if I click the text layer, "New 3D extrusion..." on the bottom is also greyed.
How do I enable 3D functions?

If you purchased a copy of Photoshop CS6 Standard, then you cannot activate the 3D functions. You must have the Extended version.
The software itself is the same. What serial number you enter determines whether it will run in Standard or Extended mode.
Photoshop is an ADOBE product
