iPhone iOS 11.2 iMessages not displaying in order

Ever since I updated to iOS 11.2, I've had a problem with iMessage. When I'm texting someone, my text will appear as it should, but when the person I'm texting replies, their reply appears ABOVE my original message, instead of BELOW. I've noticed that this only happens if they reply very soon after I text them. For instance, if they don't read my message until at least several minutes after I send the text, their reply will appear under my text, as it should. Does anyone else have this problem? If you do, and have managed to fix it, I'd be very grateful! Thank you 🙂
