Watch individual contact read receipt

Hello, I may have found a bug or issue with the read receipt. Seems when I have the read receipt functionality set to off in the main message settings on the phone, and I select an individual contact to read receipt on within the info panel, the settings will not carry over to the Watch. It seems the Watch overrides this individual read receipt setting per contact with the main mirror setting on the iPhone. I hope I was able to describe my issue well enough.
