Hi so I have a new phone and iv not yet put apps on it, Although it allows me to update the apps I already have it will not allow me to download new, each time I try to download new apps it tells me to log in, I type in all details and it never seems to sign in.. it signed in 2-3 times then it tells me it has sent a verification code, iv never received this code on every attmpt

Does your new phone show up under devices when at Manage your Apple ID? Is the phone number still listed under Phone numbers?

Did you change phone numbers? Does your new phone show up under devices when at Manage your Apple ID? Are you signed into iCloud on the new phone? Are you using the same Apple ID that you used on the old phone?
Can you successfully log into Manage your Apple ID with the ID that you are trying to use with your new iPhone? Did you get this phone directly from Apple new or used from a third-party?
Yes I can log in fine but cannot download apps etc and yes new from apple im wondering if the number is still registered to my old phone?

... and can you successfully log in to the same site with the old ID? Because that is how you would be able to change what phone number is assigned to it for verification purposes.
