Question:

Question: If you save photos from Google to your phone, and you view your photo stream in chronological order, does the photo appear on the date you saved it, or on the age of the photo itself?

So if I download an image from Google and looked for it in my photo stream, would it be in the date range of when I downloaded it, or could it be a random year, as in the year it was created or uploaded to Google?

Thank you.

Hi. If the photo included metadata with the date taken, it will be ordered at that date. This is typical of photos taken with mobile device cameras. If instead you look in the All Photos Album, it should appear in order by when you downloaded it.
