Hi,

I’ve got the Apple Watch series 3 42mm ( not cellular ) I was wondering if I am able to swim or have a bath/ shower with this model?

Apple Watch Series 3 models are sufficiently water resistant that they can be used, for example, when shallow water swimming.


After swimming (or otherwise exposing it to anything other than fresh water), be sure to clean your Apple Watch and band by gently rinsing it with warm tap water. The watch and band should also then be dried using a soft, lint-free cloth.

In respect of bathing and showering, note that Apple specifically advises against exposing your Apple Watch to soap or soapy water - such as when showering or bathing - or to high velocity water.


Your Apple Watch should also be kept with the recommended operating temperature range (see the article below) and you should also avoid exposing it to dramatic differences in temperature.
