Hi, I have an 80GB iPod classic (circa 2005/6). I uploaded all my music onto it back then. I have lost the disk with that library on it, as well as the laptop is no longer in use. I never added anything after that!

How do I back up all my music from my iPod without losing everything?

I can see my iPod in iTunes, but can't back it up or click on anything - all is greyed out.

You cannot extract the music through iTunes.

You can set the iPod classic to Disk Mode and access its directly as a storage device.

You'll then need to import the music into iTunes.
