has anyone used the new ipro 2 laptop

I use the 1st gen 12.9 inch iPad Pro for sketching, drawing and painting!

I absolutely love mine!

Don’t like the Apple Pencil, though. Too cheap feeling! No good way to store it! Don’t like the kludgey way it pairs and charges. The cover/cap that protects the Apple Pencil’s lightning connector can get lost too easily.

The Apple Pencil is NOT a very well designed stylus, IMSO.

Your mileage may vary.

I use a third party smart Bluetooth stylus that I feel is much better designed and works just as well as the Apple Pencil on my iPad Pro.

Are you referring to the Second Generation 12.9" iPad Pro?

If so, then that's not a laptop. It's a tablet. A large tablet, but a tablet.

Photo management is no different than on any other iPad. You use the Photos app, and other Apps can access the photos from there.
