iPhone 8 lost

My iphone 8 has been lost I went on find my iPhone a soon as I lost it and it hasn't once come online any suggestions what to do to try and find the last location it was,as soon as I lost it I clicked lost mode and clicked notify me when it was active however since early hours Sunday morning I've constantly been checking find my iPhone and it's not once been turned on. Someone please help ?
