Apple Wired Keyboard and Mouse worth it?

I have a mid-2011 27" iMac and love it. I normally use the included Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse, along with a Magic Trackpad (purchased separately) on occasion.

But recently, a crazy thought came over me. I'm looking into buying an Apple wired keyboard with the numeric keypad, along with a wired (Mighty) Mouse. Both of these were discontinued, so I'm looking on eBay.

What do you guys think of the wired keyboard and mouse?

I have them. Only I bought mine at OWC: https://www.macsales.com. They have lots of older equipment as well as upgrades for recent machines.

I got tired of dealing with bluetooth and charging. Whenever I took my MacBook Pro to the living room, I would get intermittent "connected" and "lost connection" messages all day. Now, when I want to use the desk and my 2nd monitor, I just plug everything in. I know the mouse is going to flake out eventually, because I used to have one just like it. But for now, it works great.

I have my old wireless keyboard and mouse in a storage bin. People have been reporting problems with the new wireless keyboard (https://mjtsai.com/blog/2017/12/07/the-magic-keyboard-with-numeric-keypad-is-app arently-bendy/). The new wireless mouse has the charging port in the bottom, so you can't use it while plugged in. I might still consider the new wireless trackpad. It doesn't have batteries and you can use it while charging. (https://www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/MJ2R2LL/A/magic-trackpad-2)
