Any problems with going from LION to HIGH SIERRA
I want to upgrade my operating system from Lion to High Sierra.
Any issues?
How has it worked out?

Some say you need 10.8 or higher for the upgrade and others say 10.7.5 which I have.
Others wrote in that their Mac Mail got messed up after the upgrade.
I also have I photo and it would then go to Photo.
Would that present any issues?
Thanks so much
Thank you, I see the link. And I see it is available.
How is this different from getting the upgraded operating system from the app store? They do NOT have the two you mentioned.
Also...which should I select...El Capitan or Sierra.
I got involved with this because my Firefox is an outdated browser and I cannot upgrade and Safari has not worked in a while because of newer updates that my current operating system cannot accommodate.
Thanks so much.
You should back up your data, and need to download El Capitan or Sierra first.

See How to download macOS High Sierra. 10.13.2 is the version presently installed and should be stable. This assumes your model meets the requirements to run High Sierra.
I am backed up with Time Machine but El Capitan or Sierra are no longer available form App store
Yes, they are. I linked to them above.

1. It’s the same. The App Store will only list those through the links to them.
2. It doesn’t matter.

Thanks again Niel. I will go that route but which should I do...El Capitan or Sierra?
It doesn’t matter.

It says to launch an application.
What do I choose?
Sorry..I am really trying..this is all new to me.
