How can I disable auto server mounting in Sierra?
Previous to Sierra, I could have a folder of server shortcuts and put that folder in the Dock. When I clicked on the Dock icon, I could see each shortcut, then click on the shortcut to mount. Now; in Sierra and newer, the Finder tries mounting the shortcut simply by mouseover. This is aggravating. Especially when connected through VPN over a hotspot. Mouseover 3 shortcuts just to get to the one you want and the Finder has to mount all. Even worse for users who didn't check for server connectivity before trying, spinning wheel for what, 120 seconds?
How can I get the Finder to stop this auto mounting? Simply having a server shortcut in the Dock causes the Finder to try and mount the share on login. For mobile users, it's like Apple didn't take a mobile environment into consideration at all.
