1440p monitor (no scaling) vs 1080p mointor

Ok so I bought a 2017 MBP i5, 128GB recently.

I used to own a windows desktop with a dell U2515H (2560x1440) display.

However recently after acquiring my MacBook Pro I realised it does not support hidpi scaling, I have tried everything (switch res x) (changing the plist file). None of that has worked and its really ******* me off, without the scaling its really straining my eyes.

So im just wondering if a 1080p monitor will fix my problem and if the 1080p monitor will actually look better.

If anyone has other monitor recommendations that either support scaling or work at 1080p please tell me.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, 2 TBT3), null
