I am looking for macbook pro disk space requirements for the OS + all the default software (like keynotes, Garageband etc) comes as part of the High Sierra
+ FinalCut Pro X
I need to know the disk space requirement,
the website does not give the breakup & Bit confusing, some chat forum talks it takes upto 120GB !,
wanted to be sure what is the real requrement
I just checked one of my lab computers and after subtracting the 3rd party applications and user folder I got just under 37GB. Unless someone comes along with a newly minted Mac with no extra software included, 37-38GB is a reasonable estimate.

I can't give you the exact number but if I do a rough calculation by subtracting my Users folder from the total disk, mine is 38GB. The actual number would be somewhat less than that.
