Using contacts from my MacBook Pro or iPhone?

How can I use my contacts list to make address labels or at least to make a list of some of my contacts?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Open the Contacts app on your MacBook Pro, select the desired contacts, File menu > Print and then in the print dialog set the "Style" to labels and change the other settings in the dialog for your label type.
