Macbook 15" not charging but charge light is on

Hey , So when I came home from work, my macbook 15" did not turn on so I thought it was dead and charged it, but it still would not turn on. I tried smc reset ! Can any1 help plz? (preferably fast cause I have a day or two to turn in an item that is due)

MacBook, macOS Sierra (10.12.5), null

I see you have already tried SMC reset.
