For the last few days, I’ve had a ton of pop up ads saying I’ve won this or that appearing in safari (running on a 6s with iOS 11.1.2). I have the “block pop up ads” setting turned on, and I’ve cleared my website history and data multiple times, but they keep showing up.
If anyone has any idea how to help stop this, it would be much appreciated!
It sounds like adware of some kind. I would try download the free version of Malwarebytes for Mac and run a free scan and see if it turns up anything. Also, if you run Etrecheck, we may be able to get a better idea of a program or extension that may be causing it.
I would run Malwarebytes first and foremost.

Thanks for the quick reply! But yes, I did try that, several times- it’s worked in the past, but not this time...!
