i redeemed my itunes gift card but the credit didnt

I redeemed my $30 iTunes gift card but at the bottom of iTunes my credit is only $2.80 (from previous use) and when I scan the card again it says it’s already been redeemed, I’ve already tried refreshing the page, and going back on iTunes multiple times but it says the same.
