Can the Pencil be used to make annotations in texts?

Hello,

Thinking about buying a iPad Pro soon for many reasons (both professional and personal). One of the biggest draws to me is using the Pencil to make annotations in iMessage (or texts), but can't find that answer anywhere I looked. If the Pencil cannot be used in texts, could I copy/paste or export the texts into another app like Notes or MS One Note to make annotations? I need to be able to do this in Adobe as well. Please let me know soon. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

No. Messages is not Pencil enabled. You can use the pencil as a stylus but you can't annotate messages. You could certainly copy and paste the messages into another app and make annotations.

Out of curiousity, what is the kid doing in the video? Looks to me she's writing on a photo she takes from FaceTime, then sends that via iMessage. 😕
