Music doesn't play

Tracks I have not previously downloaded just do not play. When I try to download music I get the error: Authorization is needed to access ".". Only started happening after the most recent update.

OBS MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2008), macOS Sierra (10.12.1)

I see that you're trying to download music using iTunes and you get the error "Authorization is needed..."

Since this happened after an update, make sure to try authorizing your Mac in iTunes again. -- Authorize your computer in iTunes - Apple Support

If the issue persists after re-authorizing your computer, more information may help suggest some additional troubleshooting steps:
1. Are you downloading iTunes Store purchases?
2. Are you downloading music from iCloud Music Library (Apple Music or iTunes Match)?
