carrier unlock issue

Hello Guys,

I have received IPhone 6S plus from my friend as a gift. The thing is it was worked very well when it's connected to UK mobile networks. But the same is not working when I tried to connect with local India mobile networks. The phone was purchased from U.K. Can you please help me out from this issue.
