MacBook getting hot.

Hello people, I was updating to high Sierra when I noticed that top side was getting hot, on Touch Bar side and I felt warm on keyboard too. I was charging simultaneously. I just bought this machine and don't know if its normal or not.

its 2017 15 inch MacBook Pro 2.9 GHz with radeon 560.


its really uncomfortable. any suggestions?

Yes, the computer can become uncomfortably warm. While we often refer to these as laptops, I've not actually used my MacBook computers on my bare lap since before 2010. there are a number of utilities that can show you the Internal temperature of the computer if you want to reassure yourself that it is within normal operating range. I use iStat which is a multi-purpose application
